SESSION OVERVIEW

This free online information session is designed to give participants an overview of what Trauma-Aware Self-Defence is about, what to expect on a course, and how it can help survivors on their own journey of recovery.

Suitable for both individuals wanting reassurance about what to expect, as well as organisations, charities and social enterprises who are interested in running a course for their clients.

​​

​The session will cover:​​

  • What makes the course 'trauma-informed' and how it is different to mainstream self-defence

  • How the techniques used can both empower participants and aid with healing from trauma

  • An overview of a typical class and the material covered over a longer course

  • Space for questions and discussion

This 60min introductory session is online, with 2 date options available to register for.
